Meet the Firms is a career fair for business majors sponsored by BAP every Fall and Spring semester at UWF at no charge to students. Recruiters and partners alike from various local and regional firms, businesses, and organizations come to get to know and to discuss future internship and employment opportunities with students.

Dress Professionally

Break out your best professional outfit to impress the recruiters. For virtual fairs, make sure your background is free of distractions. Make sure you are fully attentive to the recruiter you are talking to in order to leave a lasting impression.

Have your Resume Ready

Make sure your resume is up-to-date, free of any spelling or grammatical errors, and consistently formatted! For in-person fairs, make sure to bring multiple copies to hand out.

Meet with Professionals

Before the event, look at the list of employers coming and do research on the ones you’re most interested in. Have an idea of what opportunities you’re looking for or are open to, and leave a good first impression!
